Partners in Employment is a not for profit, charitable organization offering services throughout Perth and Huron Counties.

The formation of Partners in Employment came about as a result of two years work of a steering committee with representation from across Perth County. Employment related services that existed in the county for persons with significant barriers, including social assistance recipients, were extremely limited. Those that did exist tended to have a narrow focus and were uncoordinated with other services. Individuals on the Steering Committee represented a variety of interests including services agencies, education, federal, provincial, and local governments, businesses, consumers and their families.

Date of Incorporation: November 26, 1992. Partners in Employment have been operating in the Stratford area for over 10 years and are directed by a Volunteer Board of Directors.

Partners in Employment presently manages 3 Employment Resource Centres located in Stratford, Listowel and St. Marys and assists people to complete the Training and Employment Plan, connecting them to community employment services. Partners in Employment also offer an individualized job development service for people with employment barriers, through out the rural area of Perth and Huron Counties.
